Emmet O’Sullivan

Emmet is a founding member and director of AU Studio. Emmet is a qualified architect and urban designer with 12 years experience working in the UK with high profile practices including 5 years at McCormac Jamieson Prichard Architects and as an associate and founding member of Metropolitan Workshop.

At MJP Architects Emmet worked on award winning projects including the extension and refurbishment of The Senior Common Room at St. Johns College in Oxford. At Metropolitan Workshop Emmet led high profile projects including international design competitions and projects in the education and residential sector. Emmet’s strengths are at both end of the scale spectrum, equally adept on small bespoke buildings and large masterplans such as the Grangegorman Campus for the Dublin Institute of Technology, a project he led while at Metropolitan Workshop. Emmet has worked internationally on projects in Jordan, Norway, Denmark, Libya and Dubai.

Emmet studied architecture at Sheffield and Brighton Universities and has recently completed a higher diploma in Urban Design at The University of Westminster. Emmet has taught extensively at The University of Sheffield where he ran a diploma studio for 4 years and has also tutored at University College London and The Chelsea College of Art and Design.
